Qaulirmat also has activities over the Holiday season as well as March break.

Yes. Onboarded staff members go through a paid 50-hour training period before the start of the Program. This training offers a certification in pre-community development training.

Typically, the Program is prepared to support up to 45 participants per community.

In an effort to be Inuit-led and Inuit-staffed, over 94% of the staff hired in Qaulirmat are Inuit beneficiaries of the JBNQA. Moreover, all the special guests, artists, hunters, elders, and guest speakers are Inuit from Nunavik as well. Overall, the curriculum is built by Inuit for Inuit.

Qaulirmat's current round of funding is provided by KRG, in partnership with ESUMA.
